Welcome to the Hernando County
Republican Poll Watcher Info Center

ACTION NEEDED: ACTIVATE YOUR POLL WATCHER STATUS NOW
Register and attend poll watcher training. Facilitated online zoom classes are available throughout October. Early voting poll watcher training ends October 4th. Election Day poll watcher training continues through October 21st. ***NOTE Were you a poll watcher in the Primary? You do not need to repeat the training, proceed to Step 2 below.***
Pick up your official poll watching credential upon completion of your training. You must have your credentials for the General Election to be admitted to your selected polling place. Our Supervisor of Election, Shirley Anderson, has mailed the Early Voting credential letter (Election Day credentials come in about ten days). Please follow her credential pick up instructions for Friday, October 18th. The SOE main election office is 16264 Spring Hill Dr Brooksville, FL.
Attend a Hernando Poll Watcher Organization Meeting. Training will be held Wednesday 10/02 at 12 Noon. The meeting will take place at the Victory Office (located in the small office/retail center Castignoli Court, Bldg #3) at 6175 Deltona Blvd, Ste 103 Spring Hill Fl 34606 . Due to the hurricanes a second meeting has not been scheduled.
Create your poll watcher shift — General Election EARLY Voting: 10/21 – 11/02
For Early Voting use the new RNC webpage, protectthevote/signup. Create an account, use the email you provided when you expressed interest in poll watching at the ProtecttheVote.com site. If prompted for a password it is Trump2024. Select “Dashboard” on the left. Under your name click on the red button “Become a Poll Watcher” to choose Early Voting, your location and to select a shift. There is no place for comments. We understand you might not be able to poll watch during the entirety of the shift time frame provided. The most important data besides observational information is the opening and closing tabulator count. If you have any problems logging in call Zachary Suero at 754-422-618510/20/2024 We are aware of the glitch in the scheduling app through Protect the Vote. It may or may not affect your ability to schedule your shift. Please try to reach Zachary Suero at 754-422-6185. In the meantime, just come to the poll and work any time you can. Remember to wear your credentials and check in with the Precinct Clerk. If he or she tells you there are other Poll Watchers on duty let the PC know you are with the Hernando County Republican Party (HCREC). Both the Rick Scott and the Trump Campaign have credentialed Poll Watcher Volunteers as well. One Republican Poll Watcher from each campaign and one Republican Poll Watcher from the HCREC can be there at the same time. You can’t have two from the same entity. Introduce yourself to the other Republican Poll Watchers and work it out cordially and professionally.

INCIDENT REPORTING
While poll watching, should you experience an incident per your training, report the incident by clicking the “Submit an Incident Report” button (preferred method) OR by calling this number: 561-556-1113
NOTE: The RNC strongly prefers the report via form for enhanced data collection and validation for potential legal challenges should that be necessary. If you have trouble using the form do call to make your report.

Thank you for volunteering to be a Poll Watcher. Your efforts are vital in helping us to secure our elections in Hernando County! In order to be fully activated as a poll watcher you must take a few additional steps as described above. Should you have any questions, please call HCREC or text Jeannie Galbo or Kathleen Griffiths
